For those willing to approach Watsu there are two different options.
You can choose the Professional Program which requires 550 hours
of training (of which 350 hours minimum are of water classes and
the rest of land and elective classes) and allows to become "practitioner",
i.e. "professional of Watsu", enabled by Worldwide Aquatic
Bodywork Association (WABA) to give professional session.
Another chance is the one offered by the experiential / recreational
classes which have no professional purpose, but allow anyway a
joyful and complete experience of what giving and receiving Watsu
is.
There are no obstacle for those choosing this second modality,
to attend one or more classes of the Professional Program just
for their own interest.
